Nigeria’s D’Tigress are through to the final of the 2019 Afrobasket in Dakar Senegal.
They trounced Mali 25 -12 in the 1st Quarter and 42 -28 in the 2nd Quarter. The 3rd Quarter ended 59 – 40 as they ended the last Quarter 79 -58.
Ezinne Kalu claimed 19points, Adaora Elonu scored 13points, Evelyn Ahkator 12points and Ify Ibekwe made 12points.

D’Tigress Head Coach Otis Hughley said after the game, that it wasn’t an easy task for his team who had barely one week to prepare for the competition.
“The point difference wasn’t a reflection of the match. I give credit to the coaching crew and players of Mali for the intense game”
D’Tigress will take on Senegal or Mozambique on Sunday August 18 in the final at the Dakar Arena.
