A video circulating online shows the moment a Nigerian soldier is mercilessly flogging a masquerade in multicoloured regalia as his colleagues make a mockery of the incident.
It could not be verified where and when the video was shot.
As the flogging intensified, the masquerade pleaded for mercy to no avail, as the military man continued hitting him with the big rod in his hand.
A voice was being heard behind the camera saying this is the first time he would hear a masquerade speaking out.
