The House of Representatives member representing Badagry in Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Hunpe, has urged his constituents in Badagry to imbibe the spirit of love, tolerance and mutual respect.
The lawmaker said these virtues are needed to further develop the coastal town.
Hunpe said: “I’m aware of the sufferings of my constituents. I have promised to address these issues one after the other.
“I implore Badagry residents to imbibe the spirit of love, tolerance and mutual respect because these virtues are the panacea for moving the coastal town forward.
“Shortly after assuming office, I distributed over 3,000 school uniforms to pupils in public schools in the three local government areas in Badagry.

“This is just the beginning of the good work I promised my constituents. More are in the pipeline.”
Hunpe also advised his constituents to make the fear of God the foundation of their lives.
In a message to Muslims on this year’s Eid-el-Kabir, the lawmaker noted that the occasion symbolises the fear of Allah and the desire of man to comply with the wish of his creator.
He urged Muslims to uphold their obedience to Allah by forgiving one another.
Hunpe described Islam as a religion that upholds the spirit of love, peace and charity, as well as preaches harmonious living with the faithful of other religions.
He advised Muslims to expand the spiritual benefits of Sallah by ensuring and promoting peaceful co-existence with one another.
