After finally teasing a “Tipsy” follow-up earlier this week, fans were excitedly expecting an Odunsi single to arrive imminently. Well, the talented musician has surprised us all with not one, but two fantastic releases: the Wani-assisted “Better Days” and “Wetin Dey”.

On the P2J-produced “Better Days”, Odunsi longs to get away from the difficult Nigerian environment, as well as the toxic people who give him shit for being himself. On the plus side, though, he sings about having girls lined up to show him love, so not all hope is lost.
With great synergy on the track, “Instaman” crooner, Wani, who unsurprisingly shines on the bouncy beat, reiterates Odunsi’s sentiments. He bemoans how envious people make things difficult for him, but he, too, is focusing on love, although it’s just one lucky lady for the rising star.
“Wetin Dey” is similarly as infectious as the single that precedes it, although the tempo is a little faster. On the short and sweet track, Odunsi ventures on a night out with his boys, but it doesn’t take too long for him to realise that he’d rather be elsewhere with a girl.
As we’ve come to learn, Odunsi is a pretty nostalgic artist, bringing vintage styles into his videos and classic tunes into his music. For “Wetin Dey”, Odunsi samples Ruff Rugged & Raw’s timeless jam of the same name, and the result is a nostalgia trip that should make the song an easy hit.
