Although most of Teni‘s 2019 singles have fallen a bit flat, her brilliant performances as a featured artist have shown that she’s definitely still got it, specifically her work on Skiibii’s “Daz How Star Do”, King Perryy’s “Murder” and, now, DJ Towii‘s “Kawo Soke”.
Produced by Olakira, “Kawo Soke” starts off with a jazzy saxophone, before Teni comes in, instructing us to raise our hands up and dance. On her verses, Teni sings that she has been drinking a lot at the function and is ready to have all kinds of fun.
Unsurprisingly, “Kawo Soke” has sexual undertones, particularly highlighted on DJ Towii’s riff, where he sings about wanting a little action from a special someone. “Kawo Soke”, like her other guest spots this year, proves Teni elevates every song she touches.
