The Senior Pastor of the Awaiting The Second Coming Of Jesus Christ Gospel Church, Pastor Adewale Giwa, on Monday said Nigerians would have reasons to glorify God after the exit of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Giwa, who stated this in a statement to DAILY POST on Monday, described Buhari as someone with a strong-mind and urged Nigerians to pray and endure the hard times they are currently passing through.

“Ahab was the son of King Omri, a former military commander who had taken over the throne after laying siege to Tirzah. Omri was a wicked ruler and he taught his son, Ahab his evil ways.

“After Omri had passed away, Ahab took what he had learned from his father and put it into practice while he ruled Israel. At one point during Ahab’s rule, his wife Jezebel was killing God’s prophets. King Ahab didn’t care about what his wife was doing because he was worshiping Baal.

“Ahab died after reigning for 22 years. The evil and atrocities he committed spoke after his death.

“Buhari is mentally tough and resolute about his ideals. There is nothing anybody can do about it until he vacates the office.

“No amount of protests could change Buhari’s mind. However, I have a message for him.

“Buhari and his people should know that nothing stays the same, it all gets crushed, it all gets broken, it all passes with time. Only the moment you’re in has any meaning.

History will judge everyone accordingly. Certainly, it is better to avoid pain, but you don’t get out of life without pain, either physical, emotional or spiritual.

“Nigerians should hold on to God, and this time shall pass. A nation that forgets its past has no future. We won’t forget this time and this time shall end soon,” said Giwa.
