In a bid to spice things up, Big brother introduced four new housemates within the past two days. The pair of  Venita Akpofure and Elozonam were introduced on Tuesday, Day 30. Another pair of Enkay and Joe were introduced on Wednesday, Day 31.

This plot twist came as a surprise to the old housemates. In as much as they tried to embrace their new reality, it was quite obvious that they couldn’t hide their displeasure of not really making progress in the ‘pepper dem gang’ edition.

They all signed up for this and were warned beforehand to be ready to accept whatever Biggie comes up with during the course of the reality show. Both housemates and viewers have gotten accustomed to the eviction of housemates on weekly basis. In past editions, permutations and predictions have been made from results of the first few nominations. Camps have been formed and viewers seemed to have made up their minds on the housemates to keep in the house till the final week of the show.

The introduction of the new housemates have altered the course of things. One question that has been on the lips of many is ”Aren’t these new housemates coming in with an unfair advantage?”. Most viewers have argued that they have sat like every other viewer outside the house to make some observations overtime. These new housemates have understood the pattern of behavior and relationships within the house. They have watched the diary sessions of some of the old  housemates as well. With the amount of information they already have on the old housemates before entering the house, one would argue that they have been placed in a better position to adapt, tackle situations better and most importantly they know the viewers’ favorites to come out as winner of the reality show.
