Borno Doctors In Trouble As Governor Pays Surprise Visit To Hospital Without Seeing Anyone On Duty

According to a report by The Nation, there is serious panic and anxiety among doctors on the employment of Borno State Government following the late night visit of Gov. Babagana Zulum on Monday to hospitals within Maiduguri metropolis.
 

Many of them, especially those on duty call who couldn’t respond to the governor’s anonymous distress calls, are particularly bothered over the fate that awaits them.
 

Gov. Zulum at about 1:00am on Tuesday paid  an unscheduled visit to Umaru Shehu Ultra Modern Hospital as well as the State Specialist Hospital Maiduguri where he found no doctor on duty.

The Nation checks revealed at the  Umaru Shehu Ultra Modern Hospital all the 10 medical doctors scheduled to be  on duty were absent.
