Nigerian Star Trek Actor, Chris Obi Arrested For Raping Six Female Students At His Home

Chris Obi, the actor who starred in Netflix’s Star Trek: Discovery has been accused of raping and sexually assaulting six female students at his home.

The actor, who played a Klingon in the show, reportedly attacked each of the women as they acted out love scenes during private lessons.

The 51-year-old Londoner was arrested at Heathrow Airport after flying home from Los Angeles, reports the Sun.

Chris Obi, real name Christopher Ogugua, reportedly assaulted the women, who are in their early 20s, at his home in Notting Hill, west London, between July 2012 and August 2018.

The actor, who is believed to have denied the allegations, was released by the Metropolitan police on bail.

Obi worked as artistic director at the Actor in Session drama school, but none of the alleged offences are believed to have taken place at the Kensington and Chelsea College.

A Met police spokesman said : ‘The allegations have been made by six female complainants and relate to separate incidents that allegedly took place at an address in the Notting Hill area.’
