Following their fantastic work on Cassanova’s “2 AM”, Tory Lanez and Davido reunited on Sean Kingston‘s catchy “Peace Of Mind”. Now, Sean Kingston has come through with a remix, which retains Davido but replaces Tory Lanez with Stefflon Don and Trey Songz.
On the original track, Davido and Tory Lanez adopt dancehall intonations to match Sean Kingston’s distinctive vibe, making for a fun fusion of different complementary sounds. Thankfully, the remix is no different, as it maintains the core elements that made the original work.
While Trey Songz and Stefflon Don impress on the remix, the best part of the song remains Davido’s unchanged closing verse, which finds the afropop star doing what he does best: bragging about his wealth and promising to shower the object of his affection with money.
