Watch Burna Boy’s Brilliant Performance Of ‘Anybody’ On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

Burna Boy has been a hot topic for the past few weeks. Following the announcement of his upcoming studio album, African Giant, he’s released two fantastic singles and gotten a solo showcase on Beyoncé’s new The Lion King-inspired album, The Lion King: The Gift. 

Now, as the release date for African Giant draws closer — it drops on July 26 — he’s made an appearance on Emmy-winning American talk show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, where he delivered a fantastic performance of his recently released single, “Anybody“.

The Jimmy Kimmel Live stage has seen a ton of jaw-dropping performances from some of the most exciting new artists working today, including Lizzo, Dua Lipa, Koffee and Troye Sivan. This performance certainly puts the gifted afro-fusion juggernaut in very good company.

Burna Boy’s star has been on the rise since he dropped Outside at the start of 2018, and he’s followed it up with fantastic releases and features. He’s had even more eyes on him this year, from his spotlight as Apple Music‘s ‘Up Next’ artist to YouTube Music’s insightful documentary. 

Performing to an intimate crowd, Burna Boy’s pitch-perfect rendition of “Anybody” is sure to win him a bunch of new fans just before his album’s release. Well, we’re definitely very excited for what’s to come, and we can’t wait for the album to drop this Friday.
