In the last quarter of 2018, Prettyboy D-O came out with his debut mixtape, Everything Pretty. With standouts like “Pull Up” and “Chop Elbow” still making the rounds, the rising star isn’t taking any breaks, announcing that his debut album, Pretty World, is in the works.

Last month, Prettyboy D-O came out with his first official single of the year, “Dem Go Hear Wehh”. Like most of D-O’s other tracks, “Dem Go Hear Wehh” has already emerged as a popular banger, which is unsurprising given how distinct and infectious his sound is.

While he’s already confidently professed that Pretty World will be the “album of the year”, Prettyboy D-O’s project will have to go up against releases from stars like Wizkid, Burna Boy, Lady Donli, Maleek Berry — all of whom are also set to drop a new project in the coming months.

If the fantastic “Dem Go Hear Wehh” — which deservedly made our list of the 10 best songs from the second quarter of the year — is anything to go by, then the impending Pretty World is set to be a vivacious tape that sees the consistently impressive star do his thing and kill it.

Until then, listen to “Dem Go Hear Wehh” below:
