Late last year, Show Dem Camp released the impressive Palm Wine Music: Vol 2. Stacked with a truly amazing line up of guest acts, the 10-track project housed some of the most underheard gems of 2018, including the fantastic Burna Boy-assisted “Legend“.

Burna Boy has been on a roll since Outside — from dropping killer singles to shining on features — and “Legend” is no exception. Amidst a host of laid-back tracks, the energetic “Legend” is an obvious standout on the SDC project, thanks to Burna’s flow and Spax’s production work.

Speaking to Konbini about this song, SDC said:

“I think without tooting our own horn, we’ve set the pace for people who have come and felt comfortable about creating their own sound, and Burna Boy has done the same with his sound. So the title of the song is very apt.”

Against the fast-paced beat, Burna Boy and SDC reflect on their journeys so far, affirming that they’re all legends. The song is instantly captivating, as Burna Boy starts things off with the immensely catchy hook, while Tec and Ghost follow with their expectedly stellar verses.
