Tiwa Savage Teams Up With Zlatan For New Party-Starter, ‘Shotan’

While she’s a solid solo act, Tiwa Savage is also one of the strongest collaborators in the game. This year, she’s clearly playing to this strength, as she’s followed up “Ello Baby”, her joint track with Kizz Daniel and Young Jonn, with a feature on Zlatan‘s new song, “Shotan“.

Zlatan is one of the biggest breakout stars of 2019, and he started out the year on a strong note — teaming up with two industry heavyweights, Davido (“Bum Bum”) and Burna Boy (“Killin Dem”). Now, he’s added Tiwa Savage to his impressive roster, and the result is pretty solid.

Against a catchy Spellz-produced beat, Tiwa starts the song off with a great verse, where she brags about intimidating her haters with her success, as well as the effect she has when she walks in a room. Then Zlatan joins in, giving the song a jolt of his typically manic energy.

As expected, Tiwa Savage steals the show, doing most of the heavy lifting on the song. With “Ello Baby” and, now, “Shotan”, Tia Savage continues to prove that she makes everything she touches better, and we can’t wait for her to drop her first official single of the year.
