Gernot Rohr
Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, is hopeful he will have the trio of Odion Ighalo, Ahmed Musa and Chidozie Awaziem available for Sunday’s clash with Algeria.
The three players are nursing calf, adductor and ankle injuries respectively.
“Odion Ighalo has a calf injury, Ahmed Musa has adductor while Chidozie Awaziem coped ankle.
“But the team doctor has assured me that the said players will be ready and fit to play in the semi-finals,” Rohr told SportingLife.
The trio sat out recovery training on Thursday, a day after Nigeria beat South Africa in an AFCON quarter-final.
