Owing to the growing global popularity of Nigerian music at the moment, our stars are now breaking into exciting new genres, particularly Latin music, and delivering more dynamic collaborations than we’ve ever gotten from them before.

Not only are we witnessing more Nigerian acts being enlisted on foreign projects, but the increased visibility Nigerian musicians are gaining has also made it possible for a rising star in Nigeria to feature two Grammy-nominated acts on his debut album.

So, to commemorate the far-reaching exploits of Nigerian musicians this year, we’ve compiled a list of the best Nigerian-international collaborations of 2019 (so far) — from GoldLink and Wizkid‘s “No Lie” to Odunsi and RAYE’s “Tipsy”.
