DJ Neptune Remixes Some Of His Best Songs For EDM EP, ‘Love And Greatness’

Last year, DJ Neptune put out his debut album, Greatness, which called upon an all-star squad of Nigerian artists, from Burna Boy to Davido. Now, he’s enlisted EDM producer, Sigag Lauren to remix a few of his best singles, compiling them for a new EP, Love and Greatness. 

The six-track project begins with the EDM remix of DJ Neptune’s Davido-aided hit, “Démo” — his first official single following Greatness. Although the track was already a party-starter, Sigag Lauren’s take turns it up to a 100, delivering a banger that should get anyone moving. 

Besides “Démo”, the Mr Eazi-aided “Marry” is the only other track that wasn’t on Greatness. Unsurprisingly, the track is a very natural fit for the EDM rework Sigag gives it, probably owing to the fact that we are used to hearing Mr Eazi over an eclectic range of genres. 

The short but sweet project really shows off the flexibility of DJ Neptune’s songs, and it also allows us to hear some of our favourite afropop vocals in a whole new light. We’re hoping these impressive remixes encourage the likes of Davido to give other genres a shot.
