
Fernando Alonso has finally ended speculation over his Formula 1 future. The 2005 and 2006 ‘World Drivers’ Championship winner has signed a new multi-year deal with Aston Martin. The latest development has ended the speculation surrounding his Formula 1 future.

The former Renault and McLaren driver’s previous deal expired at the end of the season. This has left Alonso’s future up in the air.
Alonso was said to be in talks with Mercedes over replacing Sir Lewis Hamilton who is joining Ferrari in 2025, while the 42-year-old also recently suggested he could retire from the sport.
