During a QnA session on Instagram with Adebayo Ridwan Abidemi, Brymo was asked whether he would prefer signing with Davido, Wizkid, or Burna Boy.
His response, “Don’t worry, I will just go to hell. They need recording deals,” garnered attention and potential backlash from music fans.
Brymo, formerly signed with Chocolate City alongside artists like MI Abaga and Ice Prince, revealed that he declined lucrative offers in 2012 to “resurrect” his career.
He left Chocolate City due to dissatisfaction with the outcomes of his hit songs, opting to pursue meaningful music independently.
Regarding Burna Boy mentioning him in lyrics, Brymo completed the lyrics of the diss song and revealed that he wouldn’t reciprocate the acknowledgment.

KanyiDaily recalls that Brymo had thrown shade at Burna Boy several times, accusing him of lacking originality in his creative endeavors.
Their feud recently reached a boiling point when Brymo accused Burna Boy of stealing his song and allegedly sending boys to beat him up.
Reacting while performing a freestyle with his band, Burna Boy mocked Brymo, advising people to hustle in order not to fall off like the latter.
Brymo responded to Burna Boy’s freestyle, criticizing the song’s lack of artistic flair. He advised him to capitalize on the resulting attention from their disagreement.
