French Montana Joins Afro B For Latest Remix Of 2018 Hit, ‘Joanna’

Last year, UK-based Ivorian singer, Afro B dropped the immensely catchy “Drogba (Joanna)”, which Wizkid later hopped on for a solid remix. Now, the viral song is set to get even more attention, as it just got a new remix, featuring international superstar, French Montana. 

Much like the Wizkid-assisted remix, this new iteration smartly retains the original song’s best qualities: the exceptional Team Salut-produced beat and Afro B’s catchy chorus. For his contribution, French Montana drops a smooth bridge and an expectedly solid verse.

Granted, neither of these remixes surpasses (or even reaches) the magic of the original track, but we understand why they exist. So, for that reason alone, we hope this French Montana-aided spin has the desired effect — introducing one of 2018’s best songs to a much wider audience.
