He Was There With Fans, Not Inside Bulletproof Cabin – Charly Boy Hails Peter Obi For Attending Eagles’ Match

Charles Oputa, the maverick singer, who is popularly known as Charly Boy, has praised Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP.

He hailed Peter Obi for being present at the fans stand during Nigeria’s 1-0 victory over Angola at the ongoing African Cup of Nations, on Friday.

Recall that Obi was in Abidjan, the capital of Cote d’Ivoire, for the Super Eagles quarterfinal match against Angola.

Reacting on Saturday, Charly hailed the former Anambra State governor for being in the fan stand and not inside “a bulletproof cabin.”

Sharing a clip of Obi at the fans stand during the match, Charly Boy wrote: “Nigeria vs Angola Quarter Finals, he was there live with fans, not inside a bulletproof cabin. 1-0. We move.”
