Watch The Full Trailer For Simi's Acting Debut In Kunle Afolayan's 'Mokalik'

Ever since news broke that star our beloved afropop singer, Simi, will be Kunle Afolayan‘s upcoming film, we have been eagerly anticipating her acting debut in Mokalik.

After a few teasers, the full trailer has now finally been released, and we’re fully pumped!

Mokalik is a comedy drama, which wfollow a day in the life of 11-year-old Jaiye, who is sent by his parents to work at a mechanic workshop for the day— in order to give him a different perspective on life.

When his father arrives to take him home; Jaiye has to make up his mind if he wants to return to school or take on his apprenticeship full time.

The recently released trailer shows the different things Jaiye experiences in his day as an apprentice, gaining perspective from the different types of people he meets.

Simi will be playing the daughter of one of the two buka owners in the film, whom Jaiye develops a crush on, and from the looks of it, she seems to be killing the role. Alongside Simi, the film will star Faitha Balogun, Femi Adebayo, Sanyeri, Charles Okocha and a few other Nollywood faves

While no official date has been announced, we really can’t wait for the film to be released! Watch the trailer here:
