Former Manchester City player, Benjamin Mendy has been exonerated from rape & attempted rape charges by a jury at Chester Crown Court, UK.
The 28-year-old was accused of raping a 24-year-old woman at his £4 million mansion in Mottram St Andrew, Cheshire in October 2020.
He was also accused of the attempted rape of another woman, aged 29 who said he had also molested her at his home 2 years earlier.

Mendy who had denied both charges was found not guilty by the jury of 6 men & 6 women at Chester Crown Court. He said the encounters had been consensual.
He broke down in tears as the not guilty verdicts were read out by the jury foreman following a 3-week trial at Chester Crown Court.
Recall that Mandy was cleared at the earlier trial of 6 counts of rape & one count of sexual assault relating to 4 young women or teenagers. But jurors failed to reach verdicts on 2 counts of rape & attempted rape prompting a re-trial.
