Mohammed Sani-Omolori, the Clerk to the National Assembly, has proceeded into the chamber of the House of Representatives to conduct the elections for the Speaker and Deputy Speaker.

Sani-Omolori had earlier inaugurated the Ninth Senate and conducted polls from where Senators Ahmad Lawan and Ovie Omo-Agege emerged as Senate President and Deputy Senate President, respectively.
