Two weeks ago, Santi dropped his highly anticipated debut album, Mandy & The Jungle — a formidable project that deservedly amassed a total of six million streams in its first week.
Santi has always had a skill for picking the artists to collaborate with, and on Mandy & The Jungle, that gift really shines through. The project hosts a plethora of features, from the usual suspects like Tay Iwar and amaarae, to Grammy nominees, GoldLink and DRAM.
As today is Santi’s birthday, we at Konbini decided to highlight just how great the rising star is when it comes to collaborations — be it his own tracks or the tracks of others. Unsurprisingly, it was a tough call picking just 1o songs.
His discography is rich with stunning collaborations, with a few gems narrowly missing out — his most recent Juls collaboration, “Maayaa”; his assist on Famous Bobson’s “Boti”; and even the Mandy album-closer, “Settle Down”.
However, after careful deliberation and compromise, the following ten hits emerged as our favourite:
“Gangsta Fear” — Santi ft. Odunsi (The Engine)
