In the past couple of months, The Mavins have taken over news streams, owing to D’Prince’s comeback, Tiwa Savage and Reekado Banks‘ departure, the introduction of Rema, and the announcement of a brand new signee, Crayon.
As the label looks to show the world the new stars that make up its roster, Don Jazzy has called all hands on deck for Crayon’s first major appearance, convoking Rema, Korede Bello and DNA for a new collaborative song, “All Is In Order”.
“All Is In Order” opens with a lively and percussive beat, over which Don Jazzy noisily announces that The Mavins are back again, before instructing us to tell our loved ones that all is in order in the Mavin Records camp.
Through the track, the different Mavin acts are grateful to God for their new realities. In the Clarence Peters-directed video, the Mavin crew are living it up at a vibrant beach party, with each act being treated like royalty.
Although The Mavins confidently brag about their individual talents, they don’t really come together well on the track. If The Mavins are truly back, we hope their next joint track is a better indicator of just how strong they are without their heavy hitters.
