Neymar and Dembele
Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are discussing a deal to bring Neymar back to Camp Nou, with Ousmane Dembele being sent the other way as part of a swap, according to multiple reports in Spain.
Both SPORT and RAC1 reported on Tuesday that Barcelona are working to get Neymar back to Spain, and that Dembele would be involved in such a deal. The RAC1 report cautions that such a deal would be “very complicated” and is still in the early stages.
Neymar joined PSG before the 2017-18 season and despite helping the Ligue 1 side to back-to-back domestic titles, he has consistently been the subject of transfer speculation. The Brazilian has been linked with moves back to Barcelona as well as rivals Real Madrid.
Dembele signed with Barcelona shortly after Neymar left and the Frenchman has had two up-and-down seasons with the LaLiga champions. Dembele has recorded 18 goals and 17 assists in 65 games for Barcelona while dealing with a number of injury struggles.
