Rema Drops A Colourful Video For His Smash Hit, ‘Dumebi’

Rema has come to fill a unique space in the Nigerian music industry, and it seems as though he’s here to cater specifically to teenagers like him. The latest confirmation is the music video for his smash hit, “Dumebi“, where the 18-year-old makes being a Nigerian teenager look lit.

Earlier on in the year, when Mavin Records introduced us to the young star, he immediately hit the ground running with his eponymous 4-track EP, which housed the banger, “Dumebi”. The song has enjoyed rave reviews since the project’s release, thrusting Rema right into the spotlight. 

For the Ademola Falomo-directed video, Rema embarks on a camping trip with a bunch of his friends. The clip starts off with the girl of Rema’s dreams ignoring him while he pines after her in the corner, before his mind takes him to an otherworldly setting where she’s his girl.
