Former APC V.P placeholder Ibrahim Masari has confirmed the London meeting between the party’s presidential flagbearer Bola Tinubu and Rivers Gov Nyesom Wike with  the four PDP governors loyal to him, and revealed purpose..

According to him, Wike is working for the APC.

“The meeting was basically on the 2023 Presidential election and by God’s grace, we are going to work with His Excellency, Governor Nyesom Wike,” Masari told the BBC Hausa service on Wednesday.

“He will assist and we are going to win the election with ease, by the will of God,” Masari said.

The PDP and its presidential candidate Atiku Abubaar are still living in denial of this, though the outspoken members of the opposition party have called Wike’s bluff.

Sule Lamido, Jigawa’s former governor, for instance said the party and Atiku didn’t wrong Wike who lost the presidential ticket and the V.P. slot.

Wike then replid hi by comparing their political relevance, saying Lamido caused PDP’s defeat in 2015, unlike Wike who controls Rivers voters.
