Lions went forward on several occasions with arrays of attacking display in search of goals in the second half,  but Akwa Starlets defenders were on their toes dealing with all the attacks from us.

At 71st minute of the game,  36 Lion restored parity,  as Adebayo Ogunniyi put the ball beyond an onrushing Starlets goalkeeper.

After the equaliser, 36 Lion took absolute control of the game,  and were able to crack the visitors defence open.
