As every keen follower of Peruzzi should know, the fast-rising newcomer rarely grants interviews, preferring for his fans to focus on his music, as opposed to the words he shares outside the studio doors.

Thankfully, Moni Osibodu was successful in pinning the elusive star down for an interview, bringing Peruzzi onto her couch to discuss everything from his thoughts on Kizz Daniel’s #FvckYouChallenge to what he has planned for this year

Last December, Peruzzi dropped his debut project, Heartwork EP, which was received with surprisingly little fanfare. Speaking about his motivations for the project, Peruzzi explains that the EP was not intended to be a commercial body of work, but was simply a mode of self-expression.

As such, Peruzzi intentionally held back on promoting his debut body of work. But now he hopes to change that, with an impending video for “Majesty” and a remix for the Burna Boy-assisted EP standout, “Champion Lover”, which is set to introduce vocals from Wande Coal.

Given that Heartwork was a project crafted with himself in mind, Peruzzi announces that he is already gearing up for his second body of work, this time with his fans in mind. Working with producers like Kel P, Northboi and Major Banks, this project promises to show off his versatility.
