Last year, Davido signed Sinzu to DMW, in the hopes of rebranding the iconic rapper and pushing his career forward. It seems 2019 is Sinzu’s year for achieving that, as he has given us a remix to “Able God”, a video for it and now an official single, “Ze Levu”.
Since his rebranding, Sinzu has been on a new gbedu, which he wishes to flaunt on the Bils-produced “Zu Levu”. A pretty short track — although the length works well for what Sinzu is trying to achieve — “Zu Levu” sees the rapper as confident as we remember.
He narrates a fast-lane lifestyle and litters his lyrics with the same comradery we saw in the video for his “Able God (Zumix)”. On the chorus, Sinzu warns that he will bring out the wild side in anyone — from getting your girlfriends to cheat, to turning the whole club into a zoo.
