There is need to address the future of our dear party in the state,  clearly  the opposition is gaining more grounds and the Friday verdict of the electoral tribunal must surely jolt us to reckoninng.

Even as we believe the verdict will be upturned by higher courts to uphold APC victory at the governorship election, we must do so while at the same time learning from events that have weakened our noble party APC.

For ours to remain the party to beat in Osun, there is need to reinvent the culture of cohesion  by involving appropriate and relevant communities and stakeholders. This is why the issue of the State Party Chairman and other key posts in the government of Gboyega Oyetola posts must not be handled with kids gloves.

For the umpteenth time, we have observed that Ife Land has been hugely marginalized in the allocation of political post, not withstanding availability of committed party faithfuls who had paid their dues for the growth and development of the party in the state. If Governor Oyetola is desirous of making APC a stronger and better positioned party for subsequent electoral engagements, now is the time to correct the impression that the desires of Ifes do not matter.

Our position is as simple as clear, APC Party Chairman should not elude Ife Land! This does not foreclose the ceedeing of  other appointments to the area as the fact remains that since the ACN/APC reign commenced, no community has been so treated with copious disdain like ours.

To right this wrong which have always have untold consequences on the party’s performances, stakeholders of the party must rise to the occasion and make sure justice is done. This is the only way to build a stronger and virile APC which can permanently eclipse the monstrous opposition in the state.
