The member representing Ijesa South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Israel Ajibola Famurewa has urged the people of Osun to remain calm with unwaivering assurance that the All Progressives Congress APC would be victorious at the end.

Reacting to the judgement of the Osun Governorship Election Tribunal that declared Senator Ademola Adeleke the authentic winner of the September 22 election, Famurewa said by the special grace of God, the Appeal Court would upturn the ruling.

Famurewa appealed to members and supporters of APC to be prayerful, steadfast, resolute and should not be provoked by the excesses of the opposition party.

“I want to urge our members, supporters and entire people of Osun state to be calm because victory will remain ours as the judgment is a temporary setback. It is crystal clear that the tribunal goofed in her judgement, therefore, the court of Appeal will grant us justice,” I equally want to appeal to the security agencies to maintain peace and order in the state, the lawmaker said.
