Collaborations between Nigerian and international stars have become more commonplace, and Davido is one of the artists leading this charge. So, it comes as no surprise that r&b singer, Tamar Braxton is itching to work with the afropop juggernaut on his upcoming album.

Davido’s international manager, Efe Ogbeni recently shared a picture of Davido, revealing that the afropop star is working all week on his sophomore album. Under this photo, Tamar Braxton commented that she better not be left out of this, suggesting that she wants a feature.

The Grammy-nominated star is clearly looking to tap into the ever-growing afropop market, and considering just how many other international artists are starting to form a rapport with Nigerian musicians, it’s a pretty smart move on her part — even though we doubt it will happen.

As for Davido’s sophomore album, we won’t hold our breaths for it to be released anytime soon — he’s been teasing its release for over a year — but we’re glad that there seems to be some progress being made. Hopefully, he actually drops it before 2019 runs out.
