Nigeria forward Asisat Oshoala is determined to bounce back stronger after copping a hamstring injury in Barcelona Ladies 2-0 away win against Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano last Sunday, Completesports.com reports.
Oshoala scored the Blaugurana’s opening goal in the encounter and was replaced by English woman Toni Duggan who scored the second goal 17 minutes from time.
Barcelona announced on their official website on Monday that the Nigeria international has picked an injury and is doubtful for their next Liga Iberdrola game on Wednesday against LSK Kvinner.
“MEDICAL COMMUNICATION @AsisatOshoala has an injury to the hamstrings of the left thigh. Her chances of playing against LSK Kvinner on Wednesday is low and the evolution will mark its availability #FCBFemeni,” reads a tweet on the club’s official Twitter handle.

Oshoala now seems to have rule herself out from the game after taking to the social media on Tuesday to disclose her fitness level ahead of the game.
“Tough for me to take, but I will be back soon , stronger and even better ????? @FCBfemeni,” she wrote on her Twitter handle on Tuesday.
Oshoala has scored five goals in five Liga Iberdrola appearances for Barcelona Ladies since her arrival on loan from Chinese club Dalian Quanjian in January.
