Nigeria defender, William Troost-Ekong is a very happy man after Udinese ended the 2019/20 Serie A season with an away win over Sassuolo on Sunday, bolstering the team’s overall performance, Completesports.com reports.

The Super Eagles central defender was a rock in the heart of defence as Udinese beat Sassuolo 1-0 with a goal from attacker, Stefano Okaka in the 53rd minute.

Sassuolo had many scoring opportunities at the Mapei Stadium but goalkeeper, Juan Musso’s heroics, Troost-Ekong, the offside flag and the woodwork saw Udinese win 1-0.
