Mompha Visits Adeherself After She Regained Freedom From EFCC Over Internet Fraud [Video]

Nigerian Bureau De Change (BDC) operator, Ismaila Mustapha a.k.a Mompha has paid a surprise visit to social media influencer, Adedamola Adewale Rukayat popularly known as Adeherself.

KanyiDaily recalls that Adeherself was recently bailed out from prison after she was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) which accused her of being a “picker” for an internet fraud syndicate in Lagos State.

Although Adeherself has not pleaded guilty to the crime and her case is still in court, she was spotted in a video with Mompha who is also accused of money laundering and fraud by the EFCC.

Mompha visited Adeherself in her home and the reunion between the two EFCC suspect have triggered a lot of reactions from social media users.

Adeherself should have been told she doesn’t need this kind of publicity. Mompha may be down to heart (having met him) but the charges hanging on his neck should somehow make one maintain social distancing for reputational purpose; except you’re of course in his legal team.

Let it be on record that neither Mompha nor Adeherself has been convicted of any crime by any competent court of Law in Nigeria. They are both innocent until proven guilty. Stop convicting people based on EFCC sensationalism and media trial. It could be your turn tomorrow.

Seeing Mompha and Adeherself shows what EFCC do. They only motivate Nigerians to go into crime. How can you arrest alleged fraudulent individuals without evidence.
You arrest people with the hope of forcing them to confess to crimes and once they don’t you easily lose the case.
