UNILORIN NAOSS President Congratulates Basiru, Asks Student Union Leaders To Remain Focused

The President of the National Association of Osun State Students, University of Ilorin chapter,  Afolabi Abdulmalik has congratulated Dr. Basiru Ajibola on the reception of his  certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission. (INEC).

Ajibola had been elected Senator for Osun Central Senatorial District during the last General Elections.

The student union president who described Senator Basiru as a worthy leader said he deserved the position.

Abdulmalik who celebrated his birthday on 14th March, 2019, the day Basiru received his certificate of return in Abuja

He said students who are indigenes of Osun state have not been enjoying assistance from the state government in terms of bursaries and other opportunities saying that it was time the state woke up and do the needful.

He said the students performance in school would improve once the state government started supporting them.

Notwithstanding, he appealed to all National Association of Osun State Students, NAOSS leaders in various Campuses  not to rest on their oars, saying that ” the future is bright, despite that, it might get tiring at some point, but, the determination and Zeal to serve the state as undergraduates should remain unshakable.”
