Breaking News: Bandits kill 6 In Two Katsina Communities

No fewer than 6 persons are feared dead including a security personnel while 5 others including 2 pregnant women escaped death with severe injuries as over 100 bandits launched fresh attacks on two Katsina communities.

Confirming the incidents, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Sp Gambo Isah, said 3 victims each lost their lives at Kulare and Kanawa villages of Danmusa Area Council.

According to him, the bandits stormed the 2 villages and started shooting sporadically killing their victims and carting away properties worth thousands of naira including animals.

Isah further stated that, it was the sporadic gunshots by the bandits that attracted security personnel posted to Maidabino village that shares boundaries with the attacked communities.

 The police image maker also said that the command had sent re-enforcement of mobile police to the 2 villages to provide more protection to the villagers saying, they are combing the area for possible arrests of the fleeing bandits.
