The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) responded to a newspaper article about Samdaddy taking over the Party in Imo State. The Party maintain that Samdaddy remains expelled.
In a statement signed by the Party’s Ag. State Publicity Secretary for Imo State, Ogubundu Nwadike, the party accused Samdaddy of anti party activities and revealed his Amaimo Ward set up a disciplinary Committee to verify him in line with the dictates of the party’s constitution.
The Committee found him guilty and recommended an explosion from the party.
The Owerri Zone also found him guilty and recommended same treatment. The party accuses him of playing above the law at all times, ” showing gross disrespect to the elders, leaders and members of the party who in different ways made moves to reconcile him”.
The party laid out reasons for his expulsion.
Indiscipline, after a Governorship Primary Election in October 1 2018, which he lost, he was accused of pitching himself against the party and working against party interests from Ward to State levels.
After dragging the Party’s Candidate, RT. Hon Emeka Ihedioha to court and losing at all levels, he never once appeared in any party primaries and refused talks of reconciliation.
He also lost his ward to APC and supported the challenges of Imo PDP victory at the courts.
The party urged the general public to ” disregard the said baseless Newspaper stories” and ” In summary, Samdaddy remains expelled from Imo PDP”.
