Euro Round-Up: Moses Suffers Defeat With Fenerbahce, Omeruo Stars In Leganes Loss to Atletico

Victor Moses was unable to prevent Fenerbahce from going down to a 2-1 away defeat against leaders Istanbul Basaksehir in a Turkish Super Lig clash on Saturday, reports Completesports.com.

Moses featured for 90 minutes in the highly entertaining encounter.

The former Nigeria international has scored two goals in seven league appearances for Fenerbahce following arrival on loan from Chelsea in January.

Also in Turkey, Super Eagles defender Abdullahi Shehu played for 90 minutes in Bursaspor’s 0-0 away draw against Ankaragucu at the Eryamanan Stadium.

Abdullahi who was cautioned five minutes from time has featured seven times in the league for Bursaspor with a goal to his name.

Omeruo has made 20 league appearances for Leganes and has received four yellow cards.

Over to the English Premier League, Isaac Success was handed a starting shirt in Watford 3-1 loss to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

Success who started the game was replaced by Troy Deeney in the 66th minute.

The forward has scored once in 24 league appearances for the Hornets this season.

Samuel Kalu started from the bench as Monaco and Girondins Bordeaux battled to a 1-1 draw in French Lig 1 clash.

Kalu came in for François Kamano a minute after the hour mark.

In Slovakia, Emeka Umeh scored in the 68th minute as AS Trencin lost 4-2 to Zemplín Michalovce. It was his third goal in all competitions this season.

In the Hungarian top flight, Funsho Bamgboye was the star of the show as MSzombathelyi Haladás came from two goals to beat újpest 3-2.

The 20-year-old halved the deficit in the 62nd minute and went on the score the winner five minutes later.
