
Juventus have announced that the duo of their centre-back Daniele Rugani and midfielder, Blaise Matuidi, have fully recovered from the Coronavirus disease.
Italy international Rugani, 25, and France star Matuidi, 33, tested positive for the novel Coronavirus a month ago when they were yet to manifest the symptoms.
Rugani was among the first set of Serie A player to test positive for Covid-19, while Matuidi’s status was confirmed soon afterwards. Both players went into self-isolation for a month during which they received medical care.

The two players have been certified hale and healthy – free from the virus, after returning two negative tests. And the cheering news was announces on the Juventus website and Social Media platforms.
“Daniele Rugani and Blaise Matuidi underwent, as per protocol, a double check with diagnostic tests (swabs) for the Coronavirus-Covid 19. The tests came back with negative results. The players have, therefore, recovered and are no longer subjected to the home isolation regime,” Juventus stated on their website on Wednesday.
