Joe Aribo will be looking to score his tenth goal in all competitions for Glasgow Rangers who will face home side, Ross County, in a Scottish Premiership encounter today (Sunday), Completesports.com reports

The Nigeria international was in action as the Gers suffered their second straight home defeat, losing 1-0 to Hamilton Academical in Wednesday’s league game at the Ibrox Stadium.

After been eliminated from the Scottish FA Cup last weekend, Rangers failed to bounce back in the midweek which has led to manager, Steven Gerrard demanding a reaction.

“I hear the fans, I feel them, no one is hurting as much as myself and the players. So we certainly respect the reaction and will do everything we can to make them feel better as quick as we can. It’s about actions now, rather than words,” Gerrard said.

Aribo has now found the back of the net nine times and weighed in with eight other assists in 45 appearances across all competitions for Rangers during the 2019/20 season.

Maduka Okoye in Fortuna Dusseldorf training session

In Germany, Nigerian goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye will be hoping to make his Bundesliga debut for Fortuna Dusseldorf away against FSV Mainz – a clash between two relegation haunted sides at the Opel Arena.

Okoye who was recently promoted to the club’s senior team from Fortuna Dusseldorf II has made 13 German Regionalliga West appearances this season with only one clean sheet to his name while conceding 26 goals.

The 20-year-old was, however, last in goal in a German Regionalliga West encounter which saw Fortuna play out a 2-2 draw with Bonner SC at the Sportpark Nord on 26 January, 2020.
