Super Eagles defender Chidozie Awaziem had a torrid time as Barcelona made light work of beating Leganes on Thursday, booking their place in the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey.
Lionel Messi struck twice as Barcelona bounced back from their first defeat under Quique Setien with a resounding 5-0 victory over Leganes in the last 16 encounter.
Awaziem, who was in action for 90 minutes was cautioned in the 73rd minute.
His international teammate Kenneth Omeruo was an unused substitute in the game.
Leganes will now shift their attention to Sunday’s LaLiga home clash Real Sociedad.
