Nigeria midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi is targeting his second win against Chelsea in eight appearances when Frank Lampard’s men storm the King Palace Stadium Saturday evening for a matchday-25 Premier League game, Completesports.com reports.
Ndidi and his compatriot, Kelechi Iheanacho were denied the chance of playing in their first ever domestic Cup final in England following Leicester City’s 3-2 aggregate loss to Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup, but the midfielder will be relishing the chance to bounce back on Saturday against a team he scored against in the first round of the 2019/20 Premier League season.
Ndidi made his Premier League debut against Chelsea in January 2017, crashing 3-0 to the visitors at the King Power Stadium. The Nigerian has made six other appearances against the West London side, drew three, lost two and won just once.

Last August at the Stamford Bridge, Ndidi rose from villain to hero. First he gifted Chelsea with the opening goal as Mason Mount scored on seven minutes of the encounter. The Nigerian then made amends in the second half, heading home the equaliser to ensure the Foxes returned to Lecester with a share of the spoils.
On Saturday, Ndidi will be hoping to score again and lead Leicester to victory which will be his 48th win in 110 premier league games for the Foxes since his switch from Belgium in January 2017.
A win for Leicester will be Ndidi’s second against Chelsea in eight appearances in all competitions. The former Genk of Belgium midfielder played a pivotal role in December 2018 when Leicester pipped Chelsea 1-0 at Stamford Bridge courtesy a Jamie Vardy’s 51st minute strike.
