Enugu Rangers head coach Salisu Yusuf is disappointed over his side’s exit from the CAF Confederation Cup exit despite Sunday’s 1-0 away win against Egytian club, Pyramids FC, reports Completesports.com.
Rangers put up a spirited display to record their first win in Group A against their hosts at the Cairo International Stadium.
The Flying Antelopes however have no chance of progressing into the quarter-final stage having failed to record a win in their previous four games.

Ifeanyi George netted the winning goal for the Flying Antelopes 10 minutes from time.
“It was a good match and my players gave their very best for a deserved victory. It was tough as the Pyramids players were always coming at us but, we held on to win.I feel sad that we will not progress with Al-Masry’ win over Nouadhibou,”Salisu said after the game.
Rangers will host Al Masry of Egypt in their final group game at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium, Enugu on Sunday.
