Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen netted the winning goal as Lille beat Dijon 1-0 in their French Ligue 1 clash on Saturday night, reports Completesports.com.
Osimhen scored from the spot late in the first half to hand Lille all three points in the encounter.
The 20-year-old has now scored eight goals and bagged two assists in 14 league appearances for Les Dogues this season.
Also in France, Josh Maja was on target in Girondis Bordeaux’s 1-1 away draw against Reims.
The goal was Maja’s second in 13 league appearances for the former league champions.
Maja’s international teammate, Samuel Kalu was also in action from the start in the game.
Kalu was replaced by Youssouf Sabaly in the 62nd minute.
In Italy, Ola Aina was benched for the entire 90 minutes in Torino’s 1-0 win at Genoa.
Gleison Breimer bagged the decisive goal for Torino 13 minutes from time.
Aina, who also sat out Torino’s previous league game against Inter Milan has featured in 11 Serie A games for his club this season.
In the Bundesliga, Jamilu Collins was unable to prevent SC Paderbon from going down to a 3-2 home defeat against RB Leipzig.
Collins who was booked in the 33rd minute has scored once in 12 league outings for Paderborn.
Aminu Umar ended a run of nine matches without a goal with his strike in Rizespor’s 3-1 win over Konyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig.
He scored in the 12th minute with goalkeeper Serkan Kırıntılı unable to prevent the 24-year-old from ending an 833-minute wait for a goal.
