
Fulham star Alex Iwobi is now the second Nigerian with the highest number of appearance in the English Premier League.
Iwobi achieved the feat in Marco Silva’s side 3-2 defeat to West Ham United at the London Stadium on Tuesday.
It was the 28-year-old’s 274th appearance in the English top-flight.
The versatile midfielder moved ahead of Nwankwo Kanu into second position.

Iwobi was previously tied on 273 with the two-time African Footballer of the Year.
Former Newcastle United striker Shola Ameobi top the chart with 293 appearances.
Iwobi started his career at Arsenal where he made 100 league appearances, before switching to Everton.
He featured in 123 league games for the Merseyside club.
