Shooting Stars head coach Gbenga Ogunbote has fired his boys up ahead of the remaining matches of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The Ibadan club exited the Federation Cup after losing 1-0 to El-Kanemi Warriors at the FIFA Goal Project on Wednesday.
Ogunbote charged his players to put aside the painful and disappointing ouster form the Federation Cup and shift their focus to the league.

“We are out there is nothing anybody can do about that. But I want you to put that behind you and focus on the task before us, which is the league,” he told tbe club’s media.
“I want us to approach Sunday’s match against Abia Warriors like wounded Lions, like somebody who has been insulted and bruised.
“Every game in the remaining matches mean so much to us and we cannot afford to fail.”
Shooting Stars currently occupy fourth position on the Nigeria Premier Football League table with 53 points from 33 games.
